Sif Cosmetics premiered at in-cosmetics 2009 and returns to the show in 2010

22.6.2009
Sif Cosmetics had a successful exhibition at in-cosmetics 2009 in Munich, Germany. Chosen for the company’s first public appearance, in-cosmetics was a perfect venue to present this new daughter company of ORF Genetics to the cosmetics industry. Sif Cosmetics will return to In-cosmetics 2010, staged in Paris, 13-15 April.

Staged annually in spring in a major European city, in-cosmetics brings together the world’s leading cosmetics suppliers, R&D, production and marketing specialists and showcases the most diverse range of new and innovative cosmetics ingredients and services. Offering a crucial insight into future scientific advances, emerging trends and regulations in an unrivalled educational program, in-cosmetics is the most comprehensive source of industry expertise and the most effective formula for developing business opportunities. The unrivalled event has now expanded and recently welcomed over 4,500 industry professionals from countries visiting some 520 international exhibiting companies.

In last years show it was evident that the cosmetic industry recognizes growth factors as potential active substances in cosmetics. The term is quite widely known and introduction of BIOeffect™ cellular activators as the new product line of Sif Cosmetics was successful. The best known growth factor is undoubtedly EGF.

We noticed great interest in the Bioeffect™ product line, especially because the solution is stable at room temperature, and originates from a green source, and is therefore considered an animal-free product.

Increasing interest is coming from Asia were there is already some experience of including growth factors in cosmetics. Some visitors showed interest in connecting growth factors with new applications such as after-sun, and whitening of the skin.

After the exhibition many visitors indicated that they want to follow the progress of Bioeffect™, especially approval of INCI name and the outcome of clinical studies.
